        According to the administrative council on December 12, 2019, fees related to Articles 2 and 7 of the Rules will be adjusted. The new amounts of the fees specified in this decision shall apply to payments made on or after April 1, 2020. European patent fees are usually adjusted every two years, and the next adjustment is expected to be April 1, 2022.
