On December 25, 2018, the 20th Ceremony for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design, jointly hosted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (officially acronymed as CNIPA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), was held in Beijing.

　　The year’s WIPO-CNIPA Patented Award identified 30 patent gold awards, 59 patent silver awards, and 695 patent awards of excellence, as well as 10 design gold awards, 15 design silver awards and 61 design awards of excellence.
